N2 - This study adopts a qualitative research strategy (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) to explore in-depth the lived experience of six forensic mental health nurses working within Scotland. This theme, it is suggested, reflects these nurses' experience as they move from the previously accepted culture and practice of forensic nursing to a new "humanistic" and "interpersonal" perspective.
