Abstract

This conceptual paper introduces our first attempt of constructing the conceptual context for a full paper in which we want to present the retrospective experiences of apprenticeship of accomplished master chefs during their times as journeymen. The aim of the full paper is to provide a better understanding of the deeply embedded and often tacit processes of creative practice acquired in apprenticeship (see Whittington, 2006, Geiger, 2009).
