Abstract

NMRI has been studying a new type of energy saving vessels not only hull forms but also engines. The most active one at this moment is the project called 'ZEUS' which means zero emission ultimate ship. In the paper several new technologies will be introduced including boundary layer control system and optimum propulsion system.
