Abstract

The Learner Experience Framework (LEF) is an institutional strategic framework explicitly evidencing the elements that contribute to our distinctive student experience, such as course level links with industry and international opportunities. The LEF resonates with the Enhancement Theme and informs our institutional priority to support employability by facilitating the use of data to inform decision making and enhancement. Aims & Objectives: To share the evolution and delivery of an innovative institutional framework that enhances the development of graduate skills. To explore the relationship between qualitative data and student-led resource creation. To discuss how feedback from ELIR and our staff and students informed LEF development activities. To discuss the practical elements of working with student interns on outputs and embedding the LEF in a meaningful way for staff and students. Key learning points: To gain insights from our approach to evidencing impact with particular reference to the 3rd year of the Enhancement Theme. This work combines institutional strategic planning with application to other contexts, such as working with student interns, interacting with varying forms of feedback, evaluating outputs and demonstrating impact.
