Abstract
This book is an evidence-informed practical guide to supporting the education of children and young people in public care, and those leaving care as young adults. Its main argument is that for children to thrive and flourish, and realise their potential, and particularly where they have had very difficult early childhoods, they need to be cared for in school and educated at home.
