Abstract
An epidemic of pediatric obesity has affected most of the world in recent years, and the prevalence of obesity continues to increase.1 Preschool children and toddlers have not been immune from the epidemic. Obesity has adverse consequences, both in the short term (for the obese child), and in the longer term (for the adult who was obese as a child).2
