Abstract
The initiative is also timely in supporting ITE students and practicing teachers meet enhanced standards for ESD provision within the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTCS) newest iteration of professional standards (GTCS, 2006 6-7; 2021 2-7).
Created in France by Cedric Richenback, the resource is based on making information from IPCC Reports more accessible to the general public. A popular initiative across Europe, the resource uses the simple concept of ‘cause and effect’ to introduce many of the challenging issues surrounding contemporary lifestyles, agreed science and climate change.
