Abstract

A general, one-pot process has been established to prepare ketones from aldehydes using N-tert-butylphenylsulfinimidoyl chloride. By employing
the developed protocol, a range of unsymmetrical ketones has been prepared in good yields from aldehydes in one simple synthetic operation.
