Abstract

A device and a method for providing granular matter is described, wherein the device comprises a receiving container (101) configured and adjusted for receiving the granular matter (103), wherein the receiving container (101) has an output (104) for providing the granular matter (103) to a further processing and the device comprises a measuring unit (102) configured for measuring a density of the granular matter (103) in the receiving container (101) using terahertz spectroscopy.
