Abstract

An introduction was made on the function, composition, and structure of the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system(CMFDS), on the making up and interface of its hardware, on the main technical condition of engine, on the fault modes analysis, the setting up of fault library, and the selection of parts and parameters to be monitored. The algorithms for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis were also described. Finally, the results of testing CMFDS with the test data obtained from eighteen times of tests were also given which demonstrates that the CMFDS has very good adaptability and effectiveness.
