Abstract
This ArcGIS StoryMap Collection presents a narrative-driven exploration of climate-induced migration and displacement, integrating geospatial data, case studies, and community resilience analysis. Developed as part of the "Decoding Climate Displacement" project, the collection illustrates how satellite observations—particularly from Earth observation missions like Sentinel-1—can monitor environmental changes that drive human mobility. The main StoryMap offers a global overview of climate-related displacement and highlights the UK’s role in fostering resilience abroad. Linked StoryMaps delve into specific case studies—including the 2022 floods in Pakistan and coastal challenges in Valencia—demonstrating localized climate impacts and migration responses. A dedicated StoryMap on community resilience outlines how variables such as infrastructure, health, governance, and adaptive capacity can be visualized and assessed over time. The collection is intended for the general public and policymakers, advocating for proactive investment in resilience to mitigate forced migration and support vulnerable populations.
