Abstract

This session will explore the use and role of creative and games-based pedagogies at the University of Strathclyde towards shaping Education for Sustainable Development key competencies like systems and anticipatory thinking, but also imbuing values for environmentally conscious behaviours in participants. The session will reflect on the experience of integrating those activities within different parts of learning offers and student lifecycle supported by the staff StrathCAN network. Finally, it will invite reflections on wider use of creative and games-based tools and pedagogies in HE institutions to support ESD competencies and the development of share knowledge base on their efficacy across different learning stages.
