Abstract

DHI was invited by Scottish Government to support the Adult Mental Health Collaborative in designing and delivering a range of activities and workshops to develop ideas and solutions to the complexity of mental health services. As part of this work the team were asked to lead a collaborative workshop at the Mental Health Strategy National Forum on the theme of: “What is the offer to citizens in distress?” Following interviews and meetings with key stakeholders the team designed a range of tools to support a collaborative approach for identifying challenge areas and exploring new opportunities for individuals in distress who use the services currently available. The findings contained in this report will be submitted to the Scottish Government mental health directorate for consideration and possible inclusion in the adult mental health collaborative.
