    Abstract

    Child and Youth Care teaching will look different next semester. Graham McPheat and Mary Ventrella would like to invite you to embrace these challenges while you create connection in an online educational community. We welcome students, community partners, mentors and educators to participate in a live online Educational Day June 25, 2020. This online event will support building online teaching and learning relationships while focusing on our online educational needs. Discussions to include teaching creatively, reflection, inclusivity and modeling best relational teaching practices. Educators are asked to bring rubric and evaluation samples and their thoughts about course and program learning outcomes. Additionally, we will share examples of online activities and meaningful moments that promote inclusion, creativity while teaching child and youth care principles in online spaces.
