Connecting the triangle: aligning justice, trade and development

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In an age in which globalised trade is the norm, it is necessary to consider how the rules governing the international trade arena impact upon questions of justice and development. The purpose of this paper is to examine the triangular relationship between trade, development policy and justice. The examination will focus upon the World Trade Organisation [WTO] whose mandate is to 'provide the common
institutional framework for the conduct of trade relations among its
Members.'
