Abstract

The BSR Non-Newtonian Club meeting on the theme of “Rheology of Multiphase Systems: Bubbles, Drops and Particles” was hosted on Sept 17th 2021 on-line at the University of Strathclyde. It was an excellent day, with a great mix of industrial and academic talks. Over 230 people registered, with more than 130 participants attending on the day. There were attendees from five continents and many time zones (including countries such as New Zealand, Japan and Brazil in addition to UK and other European countries), which emphasises the broad international interest of rheology and the new found reach of the online NNC meetings.
