Abstract
The latest results of experimental and numerical investigations of a second harmonic X-band gyro-TWA with a helically corrugated interaction region are presented. Simulations have been performed to predict the amplifler gain and bandwidth using both linear theory and a non-linear PiC code. Results from these simulations are compared to both earlier experimental results and ongoing laboratory investigations.
