Abstract
The Zoom platform offers us a number of ways to communicate with students. Aside from communicating directly via video and audio, there are a number of other ways to engage students who may be reluctant to switch on their microphone. Once such feature is the Chat panel. The chat feature can be a useful way of gathering responses from students or giving them the opportunity to ask questions. However, it can be difficult to lead the class AND keep track of the chat feature.
