Abstract

To be a lesbian is one thing, to be working-class is another and to be both is what? A double blessing? A bit of bad luck? An interesting experience? Something out of the ordinary? As someone who defines as a working-class lesbian, I decided to find out more about it – to try and answer the question of what it means to be both, by asking people who are.
