N2 - The formal pseudo-octahedral coordination around the Ni II atom in the title complex, [Ni(NO3)2(OPCy3)e], places the OPCy3 ligands (CI8H33OP; Cy is cyclohexyl, C6H11) in an unusual mutually cis conformation. This may be rationalized by viewing each bidentate NO3 group as occupying only one site of a tetrahedral coordination shell.
