Abstract

ChalkTalk was a mobile machine for evoking, gathering and recording stories about the Merchant City in Glasgow. Designed and constructed by University of Strathclyde, Department of Architecture MArch students Neal Hemmingway and Andrea Hickey under the supervision of Derek Hill, the project was supported by the Glasgow Institute of Architects, Glasgow Life and Merchant City Festival.
