Abstract

We report on our work program for the calculation of atomic data for astrophysical and magnetic fusion diagnostic plasma modelling. We restrict ourselves to electron-impact excitation. We look at recent work with the R-matrix method, including development of the Dirac R-matrix with pseudo-states method, as well as a new implementation of the distorted wave method within the AUTOSTRUCTURE code
