Abstract
This report presents the results of a Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) of two contemporary housing schemes at Marfield Street and Arnprior Road. The aim was to identify actual performance (through an initial household survey and physical testing and monitoring over a 12 month period), and compare this against anticipated performance at the design stage. Detailed monitoring was performed in two dwellings at Marfield Street (1A: N/S orientation; 1B: NE/SW orientation) and two dwellings at Arnprior Road (1B: N/S orientation; 2B: E/W orientation). The project covered a 12 month period in order to examine performance and outcomes over different seasonal conditions.
