Abstract
The invention relates to protection for a superconductor unit to ensure that the heat generated by the sudden transition (quench) of the superconducting windings supplied to a superconducting transformer from the superconducting state to the normal state is discharged without damaging the superconducting windings. Accordingly, its innovation consists of a cylindrical block with high thermal conductivity, on which the superconducting windings are wound, to be placed inside the liquid nitrogen chamber within the transformer, and each superconducting winding is used to limit the movement of the superconducting windings placed on the said cylindrical block . Multiple winding slots in which it is placed is characterized by containing a slot provided on the cylindrical block to prevent magnetic and electrical change dynamics from occurring on the cylindrical block.
