Abstract

The utility model discloses a bidirectional blade of a horizontal axis tidal current energy generator. The blade comprises an upper half part and a lower half part, wherein the working face of the upper half part faces a forward incoming flow; the working face of the lower half part faces a reverse incoming flow; BDA66-12 airfoil is adopted by the cross section of the upper half part; and BDA65-21 airfoil is adopted by the cross section of the lower half part. An incident flow control device is not required to be arranged for the tidal current generator using the bidirectional blade, both forward and reverse incoming flows can keep higher efficiency, meanwhile, the reliability of the device is improved, the accident rate of the device is greatly reduced, and the maintenance cost of the device is reduced; and a thicker airfoil is adopted for the blade part with high strength requirement, the airfoil with smaller thickness and better hydrodynamic performance is adopted for a main energy extraction region on the part with radius of 30-100 percent of the blade, and the hydrodynamic performance of a turbine is not reduced and the requirement of the blade on strength can also be guaranteed.
