Abstract

Three full-wave codes for simulating microwave propagation and O-SX mode conversion in magnetized plasma are described and compared. Their feasibility to investigate mode conversion processes and obtain conversion eciencies for parameters relevant for a potential MAST Upgrade 28 GHz electron Bernstein wave heating scenarios is explored.
