Abstract

Anisotropy of nonlinear absorption and its influence on the passive Q-switch performance of Vx3+: Y3Al5O12 and Co2+:MgAl2O4 s crystal passive shutters at the wavelengths of 1.08 and 1.35 μm has been experimentally studied.
