Abstract

This paper presents a study looking at the angle discrepancy of a 12-camera Vicon MX (Oxford metrics, UK), and a 12-camera Optitrack (NaturalPoint, Corvallis, OR). Coordinate measuring machine are used to characterise marker position. While this is an industrial piece of equipment specific for this function, the Mako Rio acts as a suitable substitute allowing for the joint positions of the RIO to be monitored actually in the same way a subject would be monitored with reflective clusters.
