Abstract
In this paper, a new methodology is presented to analyse the parallel operation of single-phase self-excited induction generators (SEIGs) in a distribution system. The model is then employed by analyzing starting currents and short circuit currents contributions from the SEIGs. Relevant simulation and analysis are performed using
Matlab/Simulink. It is found that the aggregation model proposed in this paper can give satisfactory results
