Abstract

Benzotriazolatopotassium-HMPA, a rare example of an alkali metal benzotriazole derivative, has been synthesised and shown by an X-ray diffraction study to have an intricate, polymeric ladder arrangement made up of alternating, fused K2N2 rhomboids and KN2 triangles.
