Abstract

Report of research among young care leavers in Scotland. Explores their perceptions and experience of growing up in their own families and in substitute care; their education; what they saw as their strengths and weaknesses; what helped and hindered them; and what they feel would improve things for others in their situation. Ends with conclusions and recommendations for future practice.
