Abstract

We have invented a wearable device for upper limb (arm) that is battery powered. It has a robotic elbow to assist its movement. It has also a passive shoulder joint allowing support and complete range of motion. The device can be used to rehabilite the arm and equally to assist a weak arm to perform activities of daily living.
