Abstract
The Chartered Institute of Building recently hosted a conference on relationships and communications within the construction industry. The event explored the expectations of clients, and their views on how well new forms of collaborative working arrangements has helped deliver projects on time, within budget and free of litigation. It also explored the views of designers and contractors on emerging practices that foster closer business relationships between different parties along the construction supply chain.
