Abstract

The widespread adoption of the Microsoft Windows operating system has made it necessary to update existing MS-DOS-based electrophysiological data acquisition software to run more effectively within a modern computing environment. The Windows environment, although making certain aspects of the data acquisition procedure more
difficult, also allows the implementation of much more powerful software while retaining ease of use.
