Abstract

Examines the deveopment of courseware in an automated environment. This paper describes some of the experiences and technical issues which arise in large-scale courseware developments projects, sometimes involving consortia of collaborating academic institutions. The paper provides several perspectives on approaches to large-scale courseware development including impressions from project managers, authors, courseware developers, and tools developers.
