A diamond-based, hybrid optrode for multisite optogenetics

Abstract

Ideal for multi-depth optogenetics, current monolithic LED neuroprobes show inherent limits, notably for heat extraction. Here we present a diamond optrode integrating transfer-printed GaN μLEDs, allowing extended/high-power emission and versatility.
