Abstract
The latest results of experimental and numerical
investigations of an X-band gyro-TWA with a cusp gun yielding a
10MW, 150kV, 70A axis-encircling beam and using a helically
corrugated interaction region are presented. A gain of 30dB and
a bandwidth of 20% is anticipated.
