Abstract

The title compound, C23H30N2O3, prepared in a one-stepreaction from the commercially available 1,10-carbonyldiimidazole(CDI) and testosterone, crystallizes with twoindependent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The imidazolecarbonyloxy group is in an equatorial position. The moleculesare joined in layers parallel to the ac plane via C—H Ointermolecular interactions.
