Thinking With and Beyond ‘Period Poverty’

Project: Internally funded project

Project Details

Description

The project connects to recent Scottish Government policy announcements of ‘ending period poverty’, which also resonate internationally. It aligns with the School’s social justice agenda and teacher-training provision, (where sanitary products in Schools will be provided, with ensuing practice based implications re e.g. sex & relationship education). It is aligned to the Society & Policy University theme, and the Gender Sub-them, and the Strathclyde Feminist Research Network.
