Description
The project aims to provide details on the current practice of disclosure of intangible assets in a large sample of firms, to inform policy-makers on potential areas of strength and weaknesses in current accounting standards related to intangibles. The project is funded by a $20,000 "IAAER-KPMG Research Opportunities" grant, following a successful application to a call for proposals on the topic of "Informing the IASB Standard Setting Process".
