Since January 2013 Scottish Adoption has been running a new programme that aims to support the development of attachment between adoptive parents and children through play. The programme is being funded by a grant from the Communities and Families Fund. As part of its commitment to its funders Scottish Adoption asked the Permanence and Care Team (PaCT) at the Centre for Excellence for Looked After Children in Scotland (CELCIS) to evaluate the programme. The aim of the evaluation is to consider the impact the program has on parent-child interactions and the development of attachment.
