As sustainability has become increasingly embedded at the university there has been increased efforts to provide opportunities for staff, students, and members of the public more widely, in activities and knowledge exchange events related to the topic. This has been carried out primarily though a close relationship between Sustainable Strathclyde, Centre for Sustainable Development, and Strathclyde Students' Association (known as Strath Union).
