Description
The Company aims to increase market size through innovative practices. This could lead to a 100% increase in demand over the next 12-18 months. In order to cope with this increase in demand the Company must redesign its manufacturing processes to make the most efficient use of its capacity while increasing flexibility and customer service. In supporting the above aim this project will tackle the following objectives:
• To redesign the galvanizing and powder coating processes to maximise the capacity availability – this will include a review of existing resources and making recommendations for potential investment requirements
• To review and refine the order planning and scheduling process to increase flexibility and customer service
• To review the demand management process and make recommendations for improvement
