Project: Research

Description

I co-developed the SELCIE network with Dr Sarah Dunnigan, University of Edinburgh. We began with a conference, in Dumfries, in association with Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust, Scotland's new National Centre for Children's Storytelling and Literature. https://www.peterpanmoatbrae.org/

Our current activities include an exhibition, in partnership with the Museum of Childhood, Edinburgh City Museums, opening 1st June 2018. ‘Growing up with Books: The History of Scottish Children’s Writing’ is supported by University of Edinburgh’s KE Fund and Edinburgh City Council.

There will be a conference this November and a catalogue, as part of the Year of Young People and in support of Edinburgh’s City Hospital Charity.
