School-Based Mentoring for Pupils who are Looked After in Glasgow

The aim of the research is to answer certain fundamental questions, including: ‘What is the benefit to young people, educationally and socially, in having a relationship with a volunteer mentor in the school context?’ Benefits might be defined in terms of improved engagement with school and learning, increase in attendance and increase in wellbeing.
