Key findings

Variable access to same day urgent care depending upon location and local leadership abilities to expands services. Considerable upset due to COVID and relocation of resources in some areas. Scope to improve services but still little evidence to support the optimal model of care for different setting and how allocation decision could be made given resources available to support decision-making
