Innovate UK funded Demonstrator project using virtual reality technologies to support safety planning for people with suicidal thoughts.

Layman's description

Address the critical need for effective therapeutic strategies for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation
 Deliver immersive, scenario based learning integrated with evidence informed safety planning techniques.
 Support professionals and frontline workers (e.g., NHS staff, social care, education, emergency services) in developing skills and confidence when engaging with individuals at risk of suicide.
 To produce a scalable, clinically assure XR solution with long-term mental health impact
