Project Details
Description
I led a a team of postgraduate taught students in the Library and Information Studies (LIS) program at UCL Qatar, embarking on a project to enhance the students' learning experience by assessing the needs of school libraries in Doha.
The project was supported financially in two consecutive years by the UCL ChangeMakers project that encourages “collaboration and innovation to enhance our learning experience”.
The project was built as an experiential learning one, giving an opportunity to the students to apply their knowledge gained from the classroom to a real-life situation, and give back to the community by helping selected schools to help build their libraries.
