On-line Ultra-low Power Wireless Monitoring Platform for Transmission Line in Smart Grid

In this project, I developed analytical and simulation methods to determine the ground fault current distribution in power networks when the fault occurred at a transmission tower. I also proposed development of an ultra-low power wireless monitoring platform to be applied to the towers to locate the fault place rapidly and automatically to improve the management in smart grid.
