Micro-CPD as an innovative response to development needs in a time of disruption

We instigated and led the development and implementation of a micro-CPD programme for learning and teaching development at Strathclyde in response to the acute development needs of learning and teaching staff during the pandemic. By tracking staff engagement through analytics, we know that each weekly micro-CPD input attracts between 75 and 500 staff engagements; a reach that is far beyond what would be expected from traditional provision. This work is currently being evaluated and is in the early stages of dissemination to the sector.
